What is art therapy?

The beauty of art therapy is that you do not need to be an artist or have any previous art skills to use this intervention!

Art therapy is a therapeutic tool that is practiced with a trained art therapist in a supportive environment.

Art therapists use evidence based treatments to help you process emotions that come up during creating, and build insight to reflect on how the art relates to your life.

You also have the choice to not participate in the art making and engage in traditional talk therapy.
